Daily Wellness Challenge #6


These have to be one of my favourite go-to quick and healthy breakfasts to make! Overnight oats are so easy to throw together and are incredibly tasty. Chances are, you already have most of the ingredients in your fridge and pantry!

You can make these tasty dishes out of so many things. Below I am listing one of my favourites; apple and cinnamon overnight oats!

Items required:

- mason jar with a lid or other glass container with a lid

Ingredients:

- 1/2 cup of rolled oats

- 1 tablespoon of chia seeds

- 1/2 cup of almond coconut milk or milk of your choice

- 1 teaspoon maple syrup

- 1/4 teaspoon of cinnamon

- 1/2 apple of your choice

- 1 table spoon of sliced almonds or chopped walnuts

In the order that is listed above, add each of the ingredients, except for the nuts, into a clean, dry mason jar.

Place the mason jar with the lid on, into the fridge overnight.

In the morning, top with nuts when you're ready to eat and enjoy!!

Other combinations for overnight oats:

- peanut butter and banana

- chocolate and peanut butter

- peach and blueberry

- almond, raspberry and vanilla

- chocolate coconut almond

- cinnamon and raisin

- banana cashew
