TRY THIS! Matcha Green Tea Latte


I have been substituting my morning coffee (sometimes two....) for matcha green tea lattes. If you read through my blog on matcha, you know of the wonderful health benefits of drinking it. I love green tea anything but a good matcha latte tops my list! Below are the ingredients and instructions on how to make a great cup of latte!

Ingredients:

- 1/2 teaspoon of pure organic matcha powder

- 1/2 teaspoon of 100% virgin coconut oil

- 1/2 teaspoon of pure, local honey

- 1.5 cups of non-dairy milk (cashew, almond, coconut)

Instructions:

In a small sauce pan over medium heat, begin to heat up your non-dairy milk. Add in the matcha powder and whisk together. Once the milk starts to heat up, add in the honey and coconut oil and whisk until the mixture is hot and frothy. Be sure that through the process, you're stirring often so as to prevent the mixture from burning to the bottom of the pan.

Pour into your favourite mug and enjoy!!
