Hey everyone!! So, I love the combination of fruits, nuts and seeds. It's one of my go-to's when it comes to food. Whether they're paired with yogurt, oatmeal, granola, etc....they're an extremely healthy option for breakfast, snacking or just when you're on-the-go!
I often keep unsweetened apple sauce in my cupboard to pack in my lunches for work. I also pack a small container of items such as coconut slices, dried cranberries or raisins, flax seed (whole or ground), hemp hearts, chia seeds, granola, chopped dried apples, almond slices.....or whatever else your heart (and tummy) fancies!
I empty the applesauce into a bowl and top it with the container of healthy goodies and bam! Healthy, simple and affordable food option!
You can also chop up fresh fruit such as strawberries, kiwi or pineapple, or add ready-to-go fruit such as blueberries or blackberries into the mix for added nutrition and flavour.
