I absolutely love yogurt. It's always in my fridge. I try to stick with sugar-free or low-sugar yogurt; mainly sticking to plain yogurt....but by itself, it really isn't the most exciting thing to eat. Adding nuts, seeds and fresh or dried fruit to my yogurt, makes it go from boring to beautifully bold! Food is always more enjoyable to eat, when it looks appetizing!

Here are some tasty ideas for healthy and delicious additions to your yogurt bowls:
NUTS & SEEDS & GRAINS
- raw pumpkin seeds
- Chia seeds
- granola
- ground or whole flax seed
- hemp hearts
- sliced almonds
- cashew pieces
- walnut pieces
- pistachio pieces
FRUITS
- fresh blueberries
- freshly cut apple pieces
- freshly cut banana slices
- freshly cut strawberry pieces
- fresh blackberries
- freshly cut pineapple chunks
- freshly cut kiwi fruit
- fresh raspberries
- freshly cut mango chunks
- freshly cut peach slices
- freshly cut orange chunks
- fresh pitted cherries
SWEETENERS
- organic local honey
- Stevia
- real maple syrup
- dash of fresh orange juice
- agave nectar
- brown or yellow sugar
DRIED FOODS
- coconut slices or flakes
- dried cranberries or blueberries
- dried apples, cut into chunks
- raisins (red or yellow)
- goji berries
- date pieces
- dark chocolate
- cacao nibs
Try different combinations of fruit, sweeteners and dried foods. Ex. fresh pineapple chunks, fresh mango pieces, shredded coconut and a splash of orange juice. Experiment and enjoy!!
