Hey everyone!! Ugh...I just love this time of year and everything that goes along with it. Fall is my absolute favourite season! Especially Thanksgiving!
+ I sometimes keep the skin of my orange peels and add them to a small pot of water with some cinnamon sticks. I place them on very low heat for a couple of hours, giving off a comforting scent in my house. Autumn is the perfect time of year for this homemade air freshener! I just love this scent so much!!
+ Another awesome use for orange peels are to place them in a glass mason jar and fill with white vinegar or cleaning vinegar until the peels are covered. Seal the jar up and allow the peels to marinate in the vinegar for two weeks. Empty the peels into the garbage and pour the liquid into a spray bottle to use as a cleaning agent. It smells great and is truly effective!
+ Finally, place orange peels in a glass mason jar partially filled with water and three to four ounces of vodka, making sure that the peels are entirely covered. Seal the jar up and let the peels marinate for a couple of weeks. Empty the peels into the garbage and pour the liquid into a spray bottle to use as a refreshing fabric spray!
Enjoy! xo
