Change your day by doing this ONE simple task in the morning. Make your bed! I love a perfectly made bed. It totally brightens my morning and makes me happy to see it when I come home after a long day. It just looks and feels better!

Many of us wake up in the morning, get out of bed, hop in the shower, get dressed, eat breakfast, make coffee or tea and head out the door to work. One thing that many of us don't do, is make our beds. This act can lower your stress and seriously improve your whole mood!

Tomorrow morning, take a few minutes to do it! It doesn't matter the style of making it; whether it is just pulling the blankets and sheets up or taking the extra step of tucking the blanket and sheets back for a more polished look. Just doing this simple task can transform your whole day. It is your first accomplishment of the day, gives you a small sense of pride and it pushes you to be more productive and work to complete other tasks throughout your day. It also encourages you to keep the rest of your room tidy. Crawling into a nicely made bed at bedtime is much more enjoyable at the end of a busy day.
