Place a large reusable bottle full of water beside your bed, before you head to sleep at night. In the morning right after you wake, drink 8-10oz of water. Why? Your body is 72% water and you don't have enough water in you when you wake. Here are some of the reasons why water first thing in the morning, is a perfect way to start your day.

1) It fires up your metabolism. Drinking a large, cool glass of water right after you wake, has been shown to fire your metabolism up by 24% for approximately 90 minutes!

2) You're dehydrated when you wake up. You went 7-8 hours without any water...even if your body isn't telling you that it's thirsty, it probably is.

3) Water helps your body flush out toxins. Your kidneys do an amazing job of cleansing your body of toxins, as long as you provide them with adequate amounts of fluids. Getting fluids into your body first thing in the morning will help to flush things out right off the hop!

4) Your brain tissues are 75% water! When you're not properly hydrated, your brain operates on less fuel and can leave you feeling drained, fatigued and moody.

5) You'll eat less. Studies have shown that people who drink water before every meal, lost 4-5lbs over a three month period because it fills the stomach with a zero-calorie substance, resulting in a 'feeling full' effect.

Make this a part of your morning routine to fuel and cleanse the body, improve energy and improve skin health!
